“To live in the hearts of those we love is not to die.”

To Michael, a father of five, the most important things in life were faith, family and friends.  To honor his memory, family and friends of Michael McGill have planned an inaugural Michael McGill Memorial Golf Outing on June 5, 2020 at Stony Ford Golf Course in Campbell Hall, New York. 

Michael was a genuinely happy man who lost his battle with acute myeloid leukemia (AML) on December 15, 2018. With a contagious smile and a simplicity that defined his peaceful demeanor, Michael lived his faith and fully embraced his role as a servant of God.  It is therefore fitting that the proceeds from this fundraiser will directly benefit his beloved church, St. Stephen the First Martyr along with his children’s school, through the St. Stephen-St. Edward Educational Trust and Be the Match, The National Marrow Donor Program.

As friends of Michael and the McGill family we are requesting your support to make this event a success.  Whether through a donation, a sponsorship, a great day of golf or for “dinner only”, we are grateful for your participation and support. The details of these opportunities to contribute are described in the attached brochure.   

Though it is difficult to believe that our beloved Michael has been gone for more than a year we are confident that this gathering at Stony Ford Golf Course on June 5 will be a great tribute to Michael and his life lived in faith and friendship.
